Does the customer need to be logged in? +

No. The sequence captures the email address entered during checkout, even if the customer never created an account. As long as they entered their email, recovery emails will trigger.

Can I customise the email content? +

Yes. From your merchant workspace you can edit the subject lines, body copy and timing for each email in the sequence. The discount in Email 3 is optional and configurable.

Whose name do the emails come from? +

Yours. Recovery emails are sent in your store's name and branding. For storefronts we operate, we send them on your behalf as part of the managed service — your customers only ever see your brand.

Is this GDPR compliant? +

Yes. Recovery emails are sent on the basis of legitimate interest for an incomplete transaction — a recognised lawful basis under UK GDPR. Unsubscribe links are included in every email.
